Grain and soybean futures retreated Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 1 1/4 cent to $3.10 a bushel; December corn fell 3/4 cent to $1.94 3/4 a bushel; December oats fell 2 1/4 cents to $1.65 1/2 a bushel; January soybeans fell 9 cents to $5.83 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose .32 cent to 91.80 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose .12 cent to $1.1477 a pound; December lean hogs rose 1.47 cent to 63.75 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 2.37 cents to 91.17 cents a pound.
