I would like to point out 2 things: First of all, the amount of people that typically attend this annual dinner measures around 250-300 people. A lot of the city's impoverished rely on this place to actually have a meal that most take for granted. When you figure in the price of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, ect. The bill can easily add up to $60 for a family of 4. And it is nice when you don't have to tell your kids that there will be no Thanksgiving this year because you have no money.

Secondly, regardless of one's opinion about LINK, this dinner should always be an exception. If anything, please donate some simple foodstuffs that can let people enjoy a good, nutritios and hearty meal for one day out of the year, to know that there are still things to be thankful for in this harsh world.
