Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures increased Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mostly higher. Wheat for December delivery remained unchanged at $3.17 a bushel; December corn rose 1/2 cent to $1.96 3/4 cents a bushel; December oats rose 2 cents to $1.60 3/4 a bushel, and January soybeans rose 10 1/2 cents to $5.86 1/2 a bushel. Beef and pork futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle fell 1 cent to 89.92 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell .37 cent to $1.135 a pound; December lean hogs fell .82 cent to 60.85 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.17 cent to 87.85 cents a pound.
