Parent Assn. looking for board members

Kansas University has recently formed the KU Parent Assn., a group aimed at improving communication between the university and students’ families.

Members can be parents, guardians or family members of KU students. Membership will be free.

KU is seeking parents and family members interested in serving on the association’s advisory board. The 16-member board, led by Vice Provost for Student Success Marlesa Roney, will include students, KU officials and parents or other family members. Meetings will be once a semester in Lawrence.

For information about receiving the monthly electronic newsletter or about serving on the advisory board, call 864-5872 or e-mail parents@ku.edu.
