KU men’s golf 13th at NCAA Regionals

? Kansas University’s men’s golf squad shot a 294 Saturday at the final round of the NCAA Central Regionals. The Jayhawks shot a three-round total of 877 and placed 13th in the 27-team event.

Senior Andrew Price had the best KU round Saturday, firing a 1-under 69. Sophomore Gary Woodland shot a 72 for a 216, and senior Kevin Ward shot a 77 for the same three-round score as the two tied for 25th place. Sophomore Tyler Docking tied for 98th (227), and junior Luke Trammell tied for 130th (235).

The event concludes KU’s 2005 season.
