The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club’s May 11 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Seven tables played a stratified game using a Mitchell movement.

The North South pairs were led by James Zhang and Harry Shaffer who took first in A, followed by Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges in second and Julia Brooks and Chris Lane in third. Martie Hartman and Betty Spalsbury were first in B.

East West pairs were led by Harriett Olson and Linda Heavin who won first in A and B. Klee Zaricky and Betty Collier were second in A and and Mona Bell and Carol Ball were third in A and second in B.

The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s May 13 game had eight and a half tables, used a Mitchell movement, was stratified and was directed by Don Brennaman.

The North South pairs were led by Betty Collier and Patt Radford who placed first in A. Ilse Steinhardt and Jolene Andersen placed second in A and first in both B and C. Linda Swain and Linda Randall were third in A and second in both B and C. Janice Hollowell and Gladys Riveard were fourth in A.

Sally Taylor and Klee Zaricky led East West pairs at first in A, followed by Virginia Seaver and Chuck Hedges in second. Barbara McCorkle and Virginia Johnston placed third in A and first in both B and C. Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro were fourth in A. Mona Bell and Madelyn Jenks placed second in B.

The Sunday Afternoon Bridge Club game was directed by Jerry Sloan. Six tables played a Howell movement. Bill and Barbara Hamilton placed first, followed by Jerry Sloan and Emily Foster in second.

The Monday Night Bridge Club met for a stratified game. Nine and a half tables played a Mitchell movement directed by Virginia Seaver.

Julia Brooks and Madelyn Jenks won first in A among North South pairs. Kent McCullough and Larry Bodle placed second in A, followed by Shirlie Vaughn and Sally Taylor. John Hickey and Patt Radford were fourth in A. Barbara Hamilton and Bill Hamilton were first in B, and Mary Beth Treece and Judy Bevan placed second.

The East West pairs were led by Jeffrey Nash and Lois Jones who came in first in A. Virginia Seaver and Paul Heitzman were second in A ,followed by Donna Johnson and Dave Piro in third and Lois Clark and Jerry Sloan in fourth. Barbara McCorkle and Virginia Johnston placed first in B, and Dorothy Netson and Barbara Meriam were second.

University Bridge Club announces the winners of its May 12 game. Hosts were Karmie and Edna Galle.

Blue winners were: Leo Langlois, first; Karmie Galle, second; Al Smith, third; Dale Kring, fourth; Lois Liebert, fifth; Harold Riehm, sixth; and Larry Flothman, seventh.

Pink winners were: Jean Whitaker, first; Hazel Stellmacher, second; Marian Davis, third; Alice Akin, fourth; Edna Galle, fifth; Donna Riehm, sixth; and Carol Smith, seventh.
