Sterling Heights, Mich. ? Lawrence bowler Bob Glass finished just one spot too low to advance to the finals of the U.S. Senior Open on Friday at Sunnybrook Lanes.

Glass placed fifth in round-robin match place and pocketed $4,000. The top four advanced to Friday night’s stepladder finals.

Glass was 12-12 in match play with a pinfall total of 11,120. Roger Kossert notched the fourth slot in the finals with a 14-10 record and pinfall total of 11,171.
