Enron ties
To the editor:
John Ashcroft had to recuse himself from the Justice Department’s Enron investigation after revealing that the company had donated $61,000 to his failed 2000 Senate campaign.
Alberto Gonzalez worked at Vinson & Ellis, the Houston law firm that represented Enron and signed off on Enron’s questionable accounting schemes.
Now we have the Bush/Cheney regime nominating Mr. Bolton to be the ambassador to the United Nations.
Will the media tell us the truth about Enron and the Bush family? Or do we have to wait for a Michael Moore sequel to Fahrenheit 9-11?
