Alan Emmons, a member of Kansas University’s 2004 national collegiate men’s bowling championship team, has been named the Jayhawks’ new bowling coach and Kansas Union recreation center coordinator.

Emmons replaces Mike Fine, who resigned to take similar positions at Florida State University.

Emmons has been employed by Premiere Global Services and the Mission Bowl-n-Olathe during the last year. He worked for the Jaybowl in the Kansas Union from 2001-04 while attending KU. He is a USA Bowling Certified Level II Coach.
