Oskaloosa ? McLouth and Oskaloosa will be trying to knock off higher seeds in today’s semifinals of the Class 3A baseball regional at the OHS field.

Fifth-seeded McLouth (6-13) will meet No. 1 seed Pleasant Ridge (13-7) at 2 p.m., and sixth-seeded Oskaloosa (6-13) will battle No. 2 seed Shawnee Maranatha at 4:30 p.m.

The winners will collide at 7 p.m. for a berth in the 3A state tournament.

In Monday’s games, McLouth advanced with an 8-4 victory over No. 5 seed Atchison Maur Hill in eight innings, and Oskaloosa stunned No. 3 seed Atchison County, 10-3.

Pleasant Ridge and Maranatha had first-round byes.
