Lawrence High School students marked the end of yet another school year with their annual prom on April 30 at the Kansas Union Ballroom. The theme, “A Night of Elegance,” played out in wispy up-dos, sequined dresses, shiny shoes and dapper suits.

But there was goofiness, too. Chelsea Shrimplin cut loose in a top hat, black tank top and fluffy white ballerina tutu. Promgoers kept photographers busy throughout the evening, posing for snapshots to capture all the memorable moments.
