Seabury wins; LHS hammered
Blue Springs, Mo. ? Seabury Academy claimed its fourth straight high school girls soccer victory Thursday, defeating Center Place, 2-0.
Regan Sisson scored in the 33rd minute with an assist from Irene Oben, and Erika Hierl scored in the 61st minute with an assist from Bani Singh. Goalkeeper Lindsey Ahlen recorded the shutout.
“I have to give credit to Center Place,” Seabury coach Gunar Harmon said. “We were slow to rise to the occasion.”
Harmon cited Jordan Noller and Rita Sitges for their play.
Seabury (5-3) will travel Tuesday to Independence, Mo., to face Englewood Christian.
