CLINTON (Updated 3-24) — Water 44 degrees. Crappie fair. Some fish being caught in the Wakarusa River above the reservoir. Others on jigs at 15-18 feet over structure. Walleye fair off the face of the dam using Rogues and Rapalas. Channel catfish good on shad sides and blood bait in Wakarusa River at upper end of lake. Notes: A 10-inch minimum length limit and 20 daily creel limit on crappie, and an 18-inch minimum length limit on wiper went into effect Jan. 1.

PERRY (updated 3-24) — Water 47 degrees. Channel catfish fair on shad sides off windy banks. Sauger fair on rocky points on west side toward dam using crankbaits or twisters. Fish moving in to spawn. White bass fair on rocky points using twisters and shad-colored crankbaits. Fish are moving up the river, so now is time to fish the Delaware. White crappie fair on tube jigs or minnows at 12 to 18 feet on the brushpiles. Note: Crappie daily creel limit of 20 now in effect.

DOUGLAS STATE LAKE (updated 3-23) — Channel catfish fair using shad sides.

LEAVENWORTH STATE LAKE (updated 3-23) — Channel catfish fair using shad sides off points. Largemouth bass fair using jig and pig and spinnerbaits. Note: Fall sampling showed large numbers of channel catfish, and good numbers of walleye and wipers. Crappie numbers were moderate, but size was good.

LONE STAR LAKE (updated 3-23) — Largemouth bass fair using plastic worms and crankbaits. Channel catfish fair using shad sides. Note: Fall sampling showed fair-to-good levels and sizes of most species, particularly channel catfish and bluegill.
