Kyle Iams has completed his boot camp training at Great Lakes Naval Station in Illinois. After boot camp, he was flown to Pensacola, Fla., for further training and will be assigned to the aircraft carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt.
He is the son of Francis Iams, Topeka, and Norlene Iams, Lawrence.

Army Pfc. Jeremiah Bull has graduated from the Military Intelligence Systems Maintainer/Integrator Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
The 43-week course is designed to instruct soldiers in basic electronics, digital electronics, fiber optics theory, and application and use of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment. The maintainer/ integrator ensures that all communications equipment and subsystems are in top working order to allow the Army to track and direct troop, aircraft and watercraft movements. The students are trained to install and repair circuits and wiring, calibrate and align equipment components, setup communications and electric cables, prepare maintenance forms and records, and work with oscilloscopes, signal operators and spectrum analyzers.
Bull, a 1999 graduate of McLouth High School, is the son of Richard and Michelle Bull, McLouth.
