Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean futures jumped higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 14 cents to $3.68 a bushel; May corn rose 7 1/2 cents to $2.28 1/2 a bushel; May oats rose 2 1/4 cents to $1.58 3/4 a bushel; May soybeans rose 25 cents to $6.81 a bushel.

Beef futures advanced while pork futures finished mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose .65 cent to 89.75 cents a pound; April feeder cattle rose .75 cent to $1.0475 a pound; April lean hogs remained unchanged at 70.57 cents a pound; May pork bellies rose .65 cent to 90.35 cents a pound.
