Let us see through soldiers’ eyes

If you are a member of the U.S. armed forces or a friend or family member of someone stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan, the Journal-World and ljworld.com would like to receive copies or e-mails of your photos from the war to share with our readers.

Spc. David Burggraf, a 2000 graduate of Lawrence High School, is pictured on duty at Camp Slayer near Baghdad, Iraq. Recently returned to the states, he was deployed with the 2nd Battalion 130th Field Artillery of the Kansas Army National Guard. He is the son of John and Vickie Burggraf, Lawrence.

If you’ve recently arrived home with a stash of photos, they qualify too. Please send them to: bsnead@ljworld.com

We’re currently posting a photo gallery, “Our Troops At War in Iraq and Afghanistan,” on LJWorld.com.
