R. Marceil Ferguson, Topeka

Topeka ? Services for R. Marceil Ferguson, 75, Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crestview United Methodist Church in Topeka. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Ferguson died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in Topeka.

She was born June 2, 1929, in Valley Falls, the daughter of Raymond and Ruby Cook Henderson. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1948.

Mrs. Ferguson retired from the State of Kansas Insurance Department.

She married Harvey N. Ferguson on Dec. 19, 1948, in Topeka. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Shari Crites, Shawnee; a son, Kent Ferguson, Lawrence; three brothers, Raymond Henderson Jr. and Calvin Henderson, both of Topeka, and Norman Henderson, Battleground, Wash.; two sisters, F. LaVonne Fascendini, Vancouver, Wash., and Twila Wynn, Belton, Mo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, where the family will receive them from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
