Chicago Board of Trade
Grain and soybean futures moved higher in trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat futures for May delivery settled 7 1/4 cents higher at $3.48 a bushel; May corn rose 3 1/4 cents to $2.20 a bushel; May oats rose 1/2 cent to $1.55 1/4 a bushel; May soybeans rose 9 3/4 cents to $6.39 1/4 a bushel.
Beef futures prices were mixed while pork futures prices settled lower in trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle fell .75 cent to 90.70 cents a pound; April feeder cattle rose .30 cent to $1.0537 a pound; April lean hogs fell 2 cents to 72.57 cents a pound; May pork bellies fell .43 cent to 87.77 cents a pound.
