Eileen M. Zuzzio, Baldwin

? Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen M. Zuzzio, 89, Baldwin, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Annunciation Catholic Church in Baldwin. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Parsons.

Mrs. Zuzzio died Saturday March 5, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 28, 1915, in Parsons, the daughter of George E. and Mary Reinhart Roskob. She graduated from Parsons High School in 1933 and attended Parsons Business College for two years.

Mrs. Zuzzio worked for Southwestern Bell in Parsons from 1935 to 1945 at a switchboard operator. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church and the Altar Society in Baldwin. She was also a member of several bridge clubs and a garden club.

She married Anthony J. Zuzzio on March 4, 1946, in Parsons. He died April 7, 2002.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Hahn, Bartlett, and Cindy Briggs, Derby; two sons, Ted Zuzzio, Baldwin, and Tom Zuzzio, Enola, Pa.; a sister, Mary Jean Marnell, Prescott, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from after 5 p.m. today at Dengel and Son Mortuary in Ottawa. A rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary, after which the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The family suggests memorials to the Knights of Columbus Building Fund of the church, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
