Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean prices settled higher in trading Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat futures for May delivery rose 3 1/2 cents to $3.40 3/4 a bushel; May corn rose 2 cents to $2.16 1/4 a bushel; May oats rose 1 cent to $1.54 3/4 a bushel; May soybeans rose 4 cents to $6.29 1/2 a bushel. Beef futures were higher while pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle rose 2.20 cents to 91.45 cents a pound; April feeder cattle rose 2.12 cents to $1.0567 a pound; April lean hogs rose 1.53 cents to 74.57 cents a pound; May pork bellies fell 2.17 cents to 88.20 cents a pound.
