Arlene M. Johnson, Carbondale

CARBONDALE ? Graveside services for Arlene M. Johnson, 85, Carbondale, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Carbondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends afterward.

Mrs. Johnson died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

She was born May 28, 1919, in Big Springs.

She married Arthur W. Johnson on Dec. 30, 1945. He died in 1982.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Burd, Carbondale, and Joyce Fahl, Fort Wayne, Indiana; a brother, Frank Spencer, Lawrence; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Greenwood-Roberts Funeral Home in Overbrook is in charge of arrangements.
