Frances K. Martin, Oskaloosa

? Services for Frances K. Martin, 86, Winchester, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be in McLouth Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Jefferson County Geriatrics Center in Winchester.

She was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Mayetta, the daughter of Edward Henry and Monaka Nicoll Johnson. She graduated from Mayetta High School in 1937.

Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of Mayetta Christian Church. She had lived in Winchester for 30 years, moving from Leavenworth.

She married Harold LeRoy Martin on March 22, 1941, in Oskaloosa. He died Jan. 11, 2000.

A grandson also died earlier.

Survivors include three sons, George D. Martin and Michael E. Martin, both of Winchester, and David A. Martin, Imperial, Mo.; three daughters, Carol Ann Briggs, Winchester, Lois E. Martin-Beard, Deltona, Fla., and Dawn M. Hall, Wichita; a brother, John Henry Johnson, Berryton; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
