Elbert E. ‘Skid’ Seetin,
KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? Services for Elbert E. “Skid” Seetin, 89, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Porter Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Seetin died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Providence Place in Kansas City, Kan.
He was born Oct. 21, 1915, in Perry, the son of George and Irene Harrison Seetin.
Mr. Seetin served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. We was vice president and treasurer of Capitol Truck Lines in Topeka and president of Perry Tire Co. He retired from Continental Tire Co.
His wife, Vera E. Seetin, died earlier.
Survivors include a daughter, Helen Cramer, Kansas City, Kan.; three sons, Ray, Kansas City, Kan., Robert, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ronnie, Tonganoxie; a sister, Reba Bigelow; three brothers, David, Hugh and Roy; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
