Gerald J. VanDruff, Oskaloosa

Mr. VanDruff died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

He was born July 11, 1928, in McLouth, the son of Grover and Lila Shrader VanDruff.

He was a pipefitter for Standard Oil Co. of California, where he lived for 40 years.

He also was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1947 to 1949.

Survivors include three brothers, Marlin “Murph,” McLouth, David, Basehor and Larry, Tonganoxie; and a sister, Esther McAfee, Caney.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.
