Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures advanced Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Grain futures declined.

Wheat for March delivery fell 1 cent to $3.37 a bushel; May corn fell 1 cent to $2.17 a bushel; May oats fell 1 3/4 cent to $1.54 1/4 a bushel; May soybeans rose 2 1/2 cents to $6.29 3/4 a bushel.

Beef futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Pork futures retreated. April live cattle rose .32 cent to 89.02 cents a pound; April feeder cattle rose .17 cent to $1.0167 a pound; April lean hogs fell .45 cent to 75.65 cents a pound; May pork bellies fell .35 cent to 90.22 cents a pound.
