Lenexa ? Memorial services are scheduled today for John Parker, co-captain of Kansas University’s 1957 NCAA Final Four men’s basketball team.

Parker, 70, died Tuesday after battling multiple sclerosis. Services will be at 7:30 p.m. today at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Dr., Overland Park. Visitation will be at 6:30 p.m.

Parker was a member of SM North’s 1953 state basketball championship team.
