¢ Katie Mitchell, Lawrence, has been named to the dean’s honor roll of the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri for the winter semester.

¢ The family of Louise Weeks will have an open house to celebrate her 90th birthday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. June 25 at Eudora City Hall. The community is invited. The family requests no gifts.

¢ Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hagenbuch, Lewiston, Mont., announce the birth of their son, Lariot Frank Hagenbuch, who was born May 13, 2005, in Great Falls, Mont.

Maternal grandparents are Lyle and Barbara Grindheim, Denton, Mont. Paternal grandparents are Frank and June Hagenbuch, Lawrence.

¢ Jenny and Matt Simonsen, Coralville, Iowa, announce the birth of their son, Andrew James “Andy” Simonsen, who was born June 4, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He has a sister, Marilyn, 3, and a brother, Franklin, 21 months.

Maternal grandparents are Jerry and Mary Barlow, Cherokee, Iowa, formerly of Lawrence. Paternal grandparents are Mark and Kathy Simonsen, Cherokee, Iowa.

¢ Jennifer Tallman graduated from the Lexington Healing Arts Academy with certification in massage therapy. She will complete equine massage therapy classes in September. She lives in Lexington, Ky., and is the daughter of Joyce Tallman, Lawrence.

¢ Quinn and Tracie Miller, Lawrence, announce the birth of their daughter, Carlie Monroe Miller, born June 13, 2005, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. She has two brothers, Alexander, 5, and Benjamin, 3.
