Gardner ? The Lawrence Outlaws’ final two games in the Baker Classic were canceled because of wet fields Sunday. The team finished the shortened tournament with an 0-2 record.

Lawrence was scheduled to play the Johnson County Hornets and Wichita Metros, but rains forced the cancellation of games Saturday and Sunday.

The Outlaws’ next action will be a doubleheader against the Mac-N-Seitz 16s on Tuesday at Free State High. Lawrence lost to the same Mac-N-Seitz team, 5-1, Friday at the Baker Classic.

The two games will be the final tune-ups before the Raider-Outlaw Invitational next weekend, for which Lawrence’s two Legion teams will serve as hosts.
