San Antonio rolls, 71-62

? LaToya Thomas scored 23 points on 10-for-15 shooting, and the San Antonio Silver Stars closed with a 10-0 run to beat the Washington Mystics, 71-62, Tuesday night.

Thomas, the first overall selection in the 2003 draft, made her first five shots of the game and finished three points short of her career high.

San Antonio (2-6) shot 50 percent from the field.

The Silver Stars led by 14 points with less than 17 minutes to play, before the Mystics went on a 23-8 run over the next nine minutes.

Sacramento, Calif. – Yolanda Griffith had 22 points and nine rebounds to lead Sacramento over Indiana.

Lynx 62, Comets 58

Houston – Katie Smith scored 21 points, and Nicole Ohlde added 20 and a game-high 11 rebounds to lead Minnesota over Houston.

Sun 81, Storm 69

Uncasville, Conn. – Katie Douglas scored 20 points, and Margo Dydek had another big game in the middle for Connecticut with 14 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Sun over Seattle.
