Topeka ? The Lawrence Raiders scored six runs in a big seventh inning, lifting them to a 13-7 victory over Topeka Post 1 on Tuesday.

The Raiders drilled three doubles and a triple in the frame, giving Grant Meisenheimer more than enough of a cushion for the win. He moved to 1-0.

Lawrence pounded out 20 hits in the nine-inning contest.

Jake Hoover, Tommy Fitzgerald and Cory Cooper all had three hits, while Brett Lisher stroked a double and a triple.

The Raiders return to action tonight against Topeka Post 400 at Free State High.
