SAN ANTONIO ? San Antonio got its first victory of the season Thursday night as reserve rookie center Katie Feenstra scored 11 of her 16 points in the second half, leading the Silver Stars to a 69-62 victory over Charlotte.

The Silver Stars opened with five straight losses, a franchise record to begin the season. They were the league’s only winless team.

Charlotte dropped to an Eastern Conference-worst 1-4.

Phoenix – Janell Burse scored 21 points, and Lauren Jackson added 12 points and 14 rebounds, leading the Storm.
