The Douglas County Family and Community Education Council will sponsor an educational motor coach tour to Jameport, Mo., on Sept. 21.

The guided tour will include an Amish farm, woodworking shop, Sherwood Quilt Shop, H&M Country Bulk Grocery Store and Rolling Hills Old Fashioned Variety Store.

There will be shopping time at antique and gift shops in downtown Jamesport. Lunch will be served at the Gingerich Dutch Pantry, a restaurant that specializes in Amish home-style cooking. There will be an early dinner at the Hardware Cafe in Liberty, Mo., before returning to Lawrence.

The registration fee of $57 covers all costs and must be received by Sept. 7.
