Casino-goer found floating in moat

? A woman who spent more than $100,000 gambling in recent years was pulled from a moat outside a Kansas City casino Friday after she apparently leaped into the 16-foot deep water.

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers assigned to the Isle of Capri rescued the woman after a couple noticed a purse on a walkway that connects the casino to the parking garage. They then saw the woman floating in the water under the walkway.

A trooper and a passer-by performed CPR until firefighters arrived. She was taken to a hospital, where her condition wasn’t available Friday.

Police said the woman, whose name was not released, spent about $115,000 at the casino in recent years, including $300 on Friday.
