New York ? Michelle Snow’s jumper with 0.3 seconds left capped Houston’s 15-point second-half comeback and lifted the Comets to a 71-69 victory over the New York Liberty on Wednesday night.

Sheryl Swoopes scored 21 points, Tina Thompson had 17, Janeth Arcain had 13, and Snow added 10 for the Comets (14-9), who trailed 45-30 in the opening minute of the second half.

Shameka Christon missed a potential tying alley-oop for New York (11-10) as time expired. Becky Hammon had 15 points and Ann Wauters added 11 for the Liberty, who had their three-game win streak snapped.

After shooting 72 percent (18-for-25) in the first half, New York was just 8-of-23 (35 percent) after the break.
