Sales, Sun sink Fever
Uncasville, Conn ? Nykesha Sales scored 19 points, and Margo Dydek finished with 12 defensive rebounds and five blocked shots to lead the Connecticut Sun to a 68-55 victory over the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night.
The Eastern Conference-leading Sun remain the only team in the WNBA this season with a perfect home record (9-0). The Sun have won 14 straight at Mohegan Sun arena, dating to last season.
Connecticut extended its conference lead over the second-place Fever to 3 1â2 games.
Comets 83, Mystics 65
Washington – Janeth Arcain scored 23 points, Sheryl Swoopes added 17 and Houston ended a two-game losing streak with a win over Washington. Arcain hit 11 of 15 shots from the field to help Houston.
Silver Stars 78, Lynx 71
San Antonio – Marie Ferdinand scored 14 points in the second half and San Antonio snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over Minnesota. Katie Feenstra added 16 points, Wendy Palmer-Daniel and Shyra Ely each had 11, and Shannon Johnson finished with 10 for the Silver Stars.
