They were honored June 4 at the Golden Girls luncheon as 50-year-old members of P.E.O. Lawrence residents unable to attend were: Charlotte Mueller, Chapter AZ; Pam Simons, Chapter AZ; Barbara Burnett, Chapter FZ; Margaret Elvig, Chapter FZ; and Wahnita Henry, Chapter FZ.

The Lawrence Public Library's Family Knight Festival was filled with music and dancing. The event, which included face painting and crafts, was June 4. Actors from the Kansas City Renaissance Festival provided entertainment.

These Lawrence P.E.O. delegates represented their chapters while attending the 103rd annual convention of Kansas State Chapter of P.E.O. Sisterhood, which was June 3-5 in Hays.
