Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean futures retreated Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 6 3/4 cents to $3.37 1/4 a bushel; September corn fell 7 cents to $2.34 3/4 a bushel; September oats fell 1 1/4 cent to $1.73 1/4 a bushel; August soybeans fell 16 1/2 cents to $6.78 a bushel.

Beef futures decreased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures finished mixed.

August live cattle fell .75 cent to 79.35 cents a pound. August feeder cattle fell .10 cent to $1.1197 a pound; August lean hogs fell 1.35 cent to 66.82 cents a pound; August pork bellies rose 1.42 cent to 60.10 cents a pound.
