The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club’s June 29 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Eight tables played a stratified game with a Mitchell movement.

The North-South pairs were led by Kent McCullough and Chuck Hedges, who placed first in A. Carol Ball and Phyllis Brownlee were second in A. Harriet Olson and Linda Heavin placed third in A and first in B. Wanda Durbin and Suzanne Wassmer, of Ottawa, were fourth in A.

The East-West pairs were led by Shirley Reese and Shirlie Vaughn, who were first in A. Lois Clark and Cathy Blumenfeld won second in A and first in B. Gary and Mary Joyce placed third in A and second in B. Paul Heitzman and Eldon Herd were fourth in A.

¢ The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played Swiss Teams with four teams on June 29.

The games were directed by Don Brennaman. Bill and Barbara Hamilton teamed with Barbara McCorkle and Dick Moore to place first. Florine Creek, Frances Vogel, Bob Anderson and Alice Leitch were second.

¢ The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s July 1 game was directed by Don Brennaman. Twelve tables played a Mitchell movement.

The North-South pairs were led by Mary White and Mary Fenlon, of Leavenworth, who took first in A. Another Leavenworth pair, Janice Hollowell and Gladys Rivard, placed second in A and first in B and C. Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro were third in A, followed by Ilse Steinhardt and Jolene Andersen, who were fourth in A and second in both B and C. Chris Lane and Klee Zaricky were third in B.

John and Shirley Reese led the East-West pairs. They placed first in A and B. Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell were second in A and B, and Sam Pierron and Grant Sutton were first in C and third in A and B. Carol Ball and Nita Scales placed second in C and fourth in A and B.

¢ The Sunday Afternoon Bridge Club played a Howell movement directed by Jerry Sloan. Eight pairs ended up in a three-way tie for first place. Chris Lane and Klee Zaricky, Grant Sutton and Bill Schutzel, and Patt Radford and Harriet Olson split the first-place honors. Jerry Sloan and Emily Foster finished fourth.
