BARTLESVILLE, OKLA. ? Lawrence’s Raiders managed just three hits in a 5-1 baseball loss to Fort Smith, Ark., on Saturday at the Bartlesville Tournament.

Jake Hoover went 2-for-3 with a home run, while Brian Heere was 1-for-3 for the Raiders, who are 1-1 at the tourney.

“We ran into a great arm,” Raiders coach Kevin Tucker said. “He was lights-out for seven solid innings. : We couldn’t get anything going offensively.”

The Raiders, 20-3, will play Overland Park at 11 a.m. today.
