Lawrence Police said Thursday that in the past 24 hours they handled:

¢ 299 calls

¢ 33 reports

¢ one burglary

¢ five thefts

¢ three noninjury accidents

¢ two injury accidents

Burglaries, thefts reported

¢ A Lawrence woman reported that $2,790 worth of property had been damaged or stolen from her car. The burglary occurred between June 24 and Monday. Stolen items included the rear seat of the car and $1,800 worth of CDs.

¢ St. Bernard mix, brown and white with choke chain, female, 5 to 7 years old.
