Corey Ladson of Haskell Indian Nations University has been named the MCAC men’s basketball player of the week after scoring 98 points and collecting 28 rebounds in three games last week.

Ladson, a 6-foot-1 senior from Crow Agency, Mont., helped the Indians post their first win of the season by scoring 34 points and grabbing 12 boards against Central Christian. He also had 33 points in a loss to Peru State and 31 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to Newman.

Ladson made 10 of 16 three-point goals in the three games and shot 63 percent from the field. Haskell is 1-4 in MCAC play and 2-20 overall.
