Mater-Busch
Nicole Mater, Lawrence, and Jarod Busch, Olathe, were married Aug. 7, 2004, at Danforth Chapel in Lawrence.

Nicole and Jarod Busch
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Bev Mater, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Jeff and Debbie Busch, Olathe.
Maid of honor was Lindsey Wycoff. Bridesmaids were Jaclyn Busch, Lori Atkins, Stacey Hollen, Kaitlin Busch and Chelsea Turner. Best man was Jordan Busch. Groomsmen were Jeff Busch, father of the groom, Doug Busch, Ryan Busch, Wil Ducoeur and Mike Garner. Kylie Davis was flower girl.
A reception, dinner and dance was given at the Lawrence Holidome. The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas.
The bride is a graduate of Free State High School and is a hairstylist in Olathe. The groom is a graduate of Moon Area High School and Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pa. He is self-employed.
The couple reside in Olathe.
Petermann-Walker
Theresa Petermann and David Walker, both of Lawrence, were married June 19, 2004, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Charles Polifka officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Harold Petermann, Holyrood, and the late Michele Petermann. The groom is the son of Don and Mary Walker, Lawrence.

Theresa and David Walker
Matron of honor was Beth Halgren. Best man was Stephen Eggers. Bridesmaids were Meghan Barlow, Debbie Gibbons and Erin Barkley. Groomsmen were Blair Burton, John Rasmussen and Stephen McKillip. Ushers were James Petermann and Brad Everson. Ring bearer was Nick Pattrick. Flower girls were Emily Petermann and Dacia Halgren. Guest book attendant was Stephanie Martell. Vocalists were Barbara Diedel, Debbie Antes and Denise Diedel. Organist was Lisa Roush. Altar servers were Kameron Crabtree and Keaton Diedel. Gift bearers were Lori Crabtree, Lisa Pattrick, Michael Petermann and Steven Petermann. Katie Pattrick and Miranda Crabtree handed out bubbles and programs.
A reception was given at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Quivira Heights High School. She received a degree in elementary education in 1993 from Fort Hays State University. She is a substitute teacher.
The groom is a 1985 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 1989 graduate of Benedictine College. He is in the mortuary science program at Kansas City Kansas Community College. He is employed with Dillons.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
Sullivan-Kimball
Lindsey Sullivan, Lawrence, and Micah Kimball, Shawnee, were married Sept. 4, 2004, in the garden at the Williams Estate in Lawrence with the Rev. Robert Carroll officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Melonie and Warren Sullivan, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Larry and Sharon Kimball, Shawnee, and Sharmin Cassady, Mission.
Matron of honor was Melonie Sullivan. Best man was Jason Easley. Bridesmaids were Aubrey Vaughn, Abby Sullivan and Megan Winter. Groomsmen were Nathan Winter, Alex Sullivan and Michael Marchant. Flower girl was Abigail Riley. Sarah Roenfeldt and Matt Roenfeldt were program and guest book attendants. Crissa Nonken was reader. Martin Moore and Matthew Moore were musicians.

Lindsey and Micah Kimball
An outdoor reception followed the ceremony at the Williams Estate.
The bride is a 2000 Lawrence High School graduate. She received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Kansas University. She works at Treanor Architects in Lawrence.
The groom is a 1994 graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Kansas University. He works at Treanor Architects in Lawrence.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
Nicol-Cowles
Kimberly June Nicol and Charles Elwell Cowles were married June 5, 2004, in Madison, Wis., with Keith Birkes officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Arthur Nicol, Chicago, and Nancy and Jerald Pataky, Champaign, Ill. The groom is the son of Alan and Linda Cowles, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Ann Pataky. Best man was Michael Carr. Bridesmaids were Emily Cowles, Emily Rhodes, Suzanne Virant and Lara Birkes. Groomsmen were Andrew Nicol, Mark Pataky, Blaise Boles and Jeremy Gordon.
A reception followed the ceremony at the White Horse Inn in Madison. A reception also was given at the home of the groom’s parents in Lawrence.

Charles and Kimberly Cowles
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Central High School, Champaign, Ill., and a 2000 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The groom is a 1994 graduate of Shawnee Mission South High School, Overland Park, and a 1998 graduate of Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa. The couple are microbiology doctoral students at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
