Lawrence Nelson ‘Larry’ Allison, Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Allison died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, in Kansas City, Mo., from cancer.

He was born Jan. 20, 1930, in Lawrence, Kan., the son of William and Mabel Allison. He graduated from Baldwin High School in Baldwin, Kan., in 1947 and attended Kansas University.

Mr. Allison served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He worked for Sunflower Ammunitions, Bendix and retired from General Motors in Leeds.

He married Barbara Jean Brown. She died earlier.

Survivors include four daughters, Shelly Anderson, Andrea Segura, Ellen Garcia and Erin Fulton, all of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Dale, Taos, N.M.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the mausoleum.
