Virginia Ann Counseller Broders
Temple, Texas ? Services for Virginia Ann “Ginny” Counseller Broders, 77, Temple, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Christ Episcopal Church in Temple. Inurnment will be in Christ Episcopal Church Columbarium in Temple.
Mrs. Broders died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, in Temple.
She was born Oct. 23, 1927, in Chicago, the daughter of Virgil S. and Gladys Britten Counseller. She was raised in Rochester. She attended Walnut Hills Girls Prep School and Smith College in Boston. She had lived in Temple since 1962.
Mrs. Broders worked at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. She was a founding member of Scott and White Hospital Auxiliary in Temple and served on the Christ Episcopal Church Altar Guild. She played piano with the Temple Junior College Choir. She volunteered at Temple Library and was recognized as a friend of the library. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
She married Dr. Charles W. Broders on April 28, 1962, in Scottsdale, Ariz. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, William Counseller Broders, Atlanta; a brother, David Counseller, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two sisters, Cynde Octigan, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Pam Simons, Lawrence.
