Octarium, a vocal ensemble from the Kansas City area, has been selected to perform at the American Choral Directors Assn. National Convention Feb. 3-6 in Los Angeles.

Octarium was one of 100 choirs chosen from a record number of applicants from choral groups throughout the United States and around the world seeking to showcase their talents at the convention.

The American Choral Directors Assn. is a nonprofit music-education organization that promotes excellence in choral music and strives to elevate choral music’s position in American society.
