6News video: Screen Scene

During this post-holidays and pre-awards show stretch of winter, only one movie is opening in area theaters this week. Michael Keaton stars in “White Noise,” a horror-mystery that explores the world of electronic voice phenomenon. Known to its practitioners as EVP, the theory maintains that the deceased can use modern devices such as TVs, radios and cell phones to communicate with the living.

In the film, Keaton plays a successful architect whose wife, Anna, disappears. Soon he is stalked by a stranger who claims Anna is dead and desperately trying to contact her husband. Together they team up to discover what clues she is trying to send her husband from beyond the grave.

Speaking of “White Noise,” I’m Jon Niccum with Screen Scene.
