Mary Margaret Nevins
Valley Falls ? Services for Mary Margaret Nevins, 94, Horton, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will be in Valley Falls Cemetery.
Mrs. Nevins died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at Tri-County Manor in Horton.
She was born June 18, 1910, in Valley Falls, the daughter of Charles and Edith Hale Holbrook.
Mrs. Nevins graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1929. She lived in Wichita and Valley Falls before moving to Horton in 1996.
She worked in retail sales at Hinkel Department Store in Wichita.
She married John W. Nevins on July 13, 1929, in Lawrence. He died Oct. 17, 1982.
An infant son also died earlier.
Survivors include a niece, Leta Foster, Horton; and four cousins, including Ruth Kempter Pine, Lawrence.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
