HINU men fall in Montana

? Buddy Windy Boy drilled eight three-point goals, leading Montana State-Billings to a 103-81 men’s basketball victory Friday over Haskell Indian Nations University.

Windy Boy, a junior from Lodge Grass, Mont., scored a game-high 29 points as the Yellowjackets improved to 8-1. Haskell dropped to 1-16.

Windy Boy was 8-of-15 from behind the arc. He also had four assists with just one turnover while playing all 40 minutes.

Haskell was led by Topah Spoonhunter’s 15 points. Brandon Yellowbird-Stevens added 12 points with seven boards and seven assists. Jamison King finished with 11 points, and Justin Pendleton had 10.

The Fightin’ Indians are scheduled to conclude their Montana swing with an exhibition game against United Tribes Tech, a two-year school, at 4 p.m. today in Crow Agency.
