Deaths said to be triple homicide-suicide

St. Joseph, Mo. — The deaths of four people in a burning trailer were a triple homicide-suicide, a sheriff’s investigator said Friday.

The four people were found dead Wednesday night in their trailer one block south of St. Joseph city limits, near Lake Contrary.

The dead included Jamie Holliday, 15; Kimberly Holliday, 16; and Eric Ambrozi, 50. The identity of the fourth victim, an adult female, was not available Friday night, said Lt. Bill Puett, lead investigator with the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department.

A St. Joseph resident, John Osborn told the St. Joseph News-Press Thursday that his cousin, Rosemary Demers Holliday was among the victims.

Three of the victims were shot and the fire was set before the fourth person committed suicide, Puett said.

Puett declined to discuss the relationship of the victims, or which victim is believed to have committed the homicides. He also said a motive had not been firmly established.
