Martha Mae Walters, Clifton

? Services for Martha Mae Walters, 78, Clifton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church in Clifton. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Vining.

Mrs. Walters died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center.

She was born May 18, 1926, in Haddam, the daughter of Emil and Anna Lea McCollum Trybom. She was a lifelong resident of Clifton.

Mrs. Walters worked as a medication aide at Estelle’s Nursing Home in Clifton. She was a member of First Christian Church in Clifton.

She married Lyle Walters on Nov. 25, 1960. He died March 14, 1997.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Leiszler, Clifton, Jeanna Walters, Clay Center, and Sherry Montgomery, Concordia; a son, Dennis Pedersen, Clay Center; three brothers, Emil Trybom, Jr., Carl Trybom and Marvin Trybom, all of Lawrence; five sisters, Esther Lahodny, Concordia, Marie Roberts, Topeka, June Meyers, Gaylord, Gladys Simoneau, Plainview, Texas, and Betty Beydler, Spokane, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Turner Funeral Chapel in Clifton.
